Kirsten Lackstrom

Kirsten Lackstrom has over 15 years of climate science-policy experience. She is currently a Program Manager with the South Carolina Office of Resilience, where she leads the Palmetto Air Quality Collaborative (PAQC). The PAQC is a statewide climate planning initiative funded through an EPA Climate Pollution Reduction Grant. Kirsten previously worked with the Carolinas Integrated Sciences and Assessments (CISA) program at the University of South Carolina, where she conducted applied research and engaged decision makers on topics related to climate impacts and adaptation, climate communications and decision making, and water resources management. Kirsten holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of South Carolina.
