Bandy is the Vice President of Investor Relations & Sustainability, where she leads Albemarle’s investor relations efforts and oversees the Fortune 500 company’s corporate sustainability initiatives and reporting.

Since taking her role in 2020, Bandy has accelerated Albemarle’s sustainability program, driving a significant increase in multiple ratings. That includes a 50% spike in the S&P Global ESG Scores and a 30% jump in the Sustainalytics metrics.

During Bandy’s time at Albemarle, the company has received several awards, including being honored as one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies, earning a spot on Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Responsible Companies and being named of America’s Most JUST Companies (JUST 100) by JUST Capital and CNBC.

Prior to joining Albemarle, Bandy served as Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications for GrafTech International Ltd., a global graphite electrode leader based in Ohio, and she was the Vice President of Investor Relations for Newmont Mining in Denver. Her previous roles also include more than 10 years in equity research covering basic materials industries for BMO Capital Markets, a leading Canadian brokerage.

She earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgetown University.
